Food Walk

Food walks form an integral part of culinary tourism across the world today. It's a fun concept to take part in if you are a food lover and are interested in understanding people and their lives through the lens of food, while munching your way through some delicious treats. During a food walk, you usually go out with a group of people, led by a local expert who is a food lover too. You walk down a locality and try to get under its skin through its food. You don't always have to 'walk' though. There could be variations. You can cycle your way down local restaurants, or use motorized transport such as a bus.

As a part of SCR subject Module 5 , we the students went out for the food walk at Darmadha Gudda to explore the variety of food like Rotti, Enabadanekayii, Oolige, Stuffed green chilly, Peanut powder, chapathi, kal palya, happla, white rice, sambar, curd and many more..

Experience:

As the part of SCR subject module(Food walk) we visited Dharmadha gudda at Nagenahalli. There we spent our time at knowing some different dishes. We had a lunch together. All though their we shared each others food and enjoyed the taste of all the food. And finally to have some fun we played some interesting game with our lecturers.

Conclusion:

I thank H.Vasanthamma Mam for coordinating with us to explore the traditional food of our locality.
